The tiger is one of the largest mammals on Earth; it can measure up to 3 metres long and weigh up to 300 kg. It is however particularly deft and agile, which makes it an excellent predator. They live in Central and Southern Asia, in a number of different habitats (savannah, jungle, plain, mountain, forest). With its spectacular, multicoloured coat, it can camouflage itself amidst the vegetation when hunting. It mainly lives on its own, it can reach 20 years of age and its coat turns white when old.
