Mongolian tent

The Mongolian GHER  (Turkish YURT, Russian YURTA)  is the traditional tent of the nomad populations of Central Asia. It has a circular shape and can be dismantled and mounted again in a couple of hours. The tent is very light and is transported by yaks. The Gher is a really ecological dwelling, in fact the structure of the tent is made of wood, covered with felt, and a white cotton cloth or alternatively a brightly embroidered cloth that can be seen from afar in the vast Mongolian grasslands.
