Based on the researches of the International Organism that studies climate changes, IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), the increase in the concentrations of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere leads to an increased risk of desertification in some areas. Desertification is a degrading process characterized by regressive alterations in the water cycle, in soil fertility and in the ecosystems’ biodiversity.
