The bull shark (Eugomphodus taurus) can be up to approximately 320 cm long. It mainly lives in coastal, shallow waters (0-190 metres), it prefers a sandy seabed and gets very close to the shore. It feeds on bony fishes, rays and lobsters. A very aggressive predator, it devours any moving thing that comes before it, and this is why it is considered dangerous for man even if no attacks have been reported in the Mediterranean.
