Research in the Antarctic

The researches conducted in Antarctica are very varied and practically concern all the scientific disciplines. This is because Antarctica is the last continent to be discovered and its entire territory still has to be disclosed. Furthermore, since the continent is not inhabited, it surely is the part of the Earth which is least polluted, and therefore it is possible to carry out particular experiments and to observe some phenomena which are not disturbed by human products.
