Peoples of the steppe
The steppe has always been a boundless land, where many tribes and races have mixed and exchanged cultures, gods, goods and traditions. The Eurasian nomadic cultures have taken inspiration from the animal world, by making weapons, jewels and goods with the features of deer, hawks, unicorns, drakes and other magic or extinct animals. The Hunnish, Scythian and Sarmatian goldsmiths and craftsmen enriched the treasures of the great kings of the steppe with wonderful works.
