Geothermal power plant

One of the most widespread uses of geothermal energy is the production of electric energy. In this way, after the conversion, the energy can be distributed also far away from the places of production, which on the contrary must be on the territory where the steam is available. In the picture it is possible to see a geothermal power plant near Myvatn, in Iceland.
