Butterfly

Lepidoptera (Lepidoptera Linnaeus, 1758) represent a vast order of holometabolic insects that include 165,000 species known as butterfies and moths. The name of the order is derived from the Ancient Greek words lepis (scale) and pteron (wing) and refers to the tiny oval scales that cover these insects' wings, placed one over the other like the tiles on a roof, but which to naked eye seem just a fine dust.
