What about the permafrost?

In Sub Arctic Swedish regions, some scientists studied the changes of permafrost in marshes and noticed a constant reduction in the thickness of frozen soil, or sometimes even its complete disappearance. This new condition created an increase in marsh vegetation, but also a fast vegetation decay. This leads to an increase in natural gas emissions into marshes and swamps.
